Sexy DAISY MAE promotional Li'l Abner poster (1988)

Produced in very limited numbers in 1986 for retailers by publisher Kitchen Sink Press to promote its encyclopedic series of Al Capp's Li'l Abner strip reprints (planned for 54 volumes, "only" twenty-seven were produced when the company went under in 1999). This striking two-color poster shows Daisy Mae running from a Sadie Hawkins Day Race sequence.

The text says: "You'd better run HERE if you want to collect and read the Complete Li'l Abner! On sale now at THIS classy establishment. Natcherly."

Needless to say, very few of these signs survived being hung in comics shops in the '80s, and those that did survive have tape residue or thumbtack holes. Our small number from the publisher's personal stash are in mint condition. Looks great framed. 22" wide x 18 inches high on a heavy sturdy card stock. Can't shipped rolled, so shipped flat.
