    214. J. O'Barr's Crow Graphic Novel: Over 375,000 Sold (1998).

The Crow by James O'Barr was Kitchen Sink's best-selling square bound book ever at nearly 400,000 domestic units sold, not to mention countless comic books and international editions. The graphic novel was adapted into the highly successful Miramax film The Crow (1994), forever tragically marred by the fact that star Brandon Lee was accidentally killed on the set. While KSP did very well with the core property, it unfortunately invested heavily in the sequel film, Crow: City of Angels. When that film quickly bombed at the box office, KSP was stuck with a warehouse full of unsalable C.O.A. merchandise, adding a new meaning to the term "eat Crow," and the end of the company was not far off. Fittingly, this is Kitchen Sink Press's last button.

    1.25 inch diameter. $3.50

One note, for serious button collectors, you may want to read the KSP BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years, or see the COMPLETE KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient while it loads.
