    260. Capp & Frazetta Abner Sundays: Dark Horse (2002).

This promotional button announces the publication of a long-awaited event for fans of both Al Capp's classic Li'l Abner and of legendary fantasy artist Frank Frazetta. Dark Horse has published a four-volume set of Li'l Abner Sunday strips in full color, covering the period 1954 to 1961. During this period Frazetta was a key assistant to Capp.

Each volume contains two full years of color tabloid strips. These Sunday strips have never before been reprinted (Kitchen Sink Press' 27-volume Li'l Abner series reprinted only the black & white daily strips). Li'l Abner expert Denis Kitchen provided the introductions and annotations to these volumes (similar to his contributions to Dark Horse's Little Annie Fanny volumes). Available in this web store. Nab this delicious button featuring Frazetta's rendition of Daisy Mae for a mere two bucks.

    1.25 inch diameter. $2.00

One note, for serious button collectors, you may want to read the KSP BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years, or see the COMPLETE KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient while it loads.
