    Front Cover: (Lot of 2).  Superman prevents Nazi bombs from landing in a city, flanked by the villains in this compilation: Noname, The Monocle, The Voice, and the unpronounceable Mr. Mxyztplk. $1,600

    Medium/Size/Condition: India ink on heavy Bristol board measuring 15.5” wide x 12.5” high (39.4 x 31.75 cm). Signed and dated (2016) toward the bottom, with additional signature and history of creation on the reverse. The signature block on the front is a small paste-up, and the image of Mr. Mxyztplk is a paste-up, but seamlessly integrated. The lot includes Poplaski’s color guide: color pencils on a photocopy of the finished art, measuring the same size. Both items are in excellent condition.
