WILL EISNER
(1917-2005) • Original illustration art
“Mysterious Accuser” (1993)
It’s not often that Will Eisner strayed
from the graphic novel and comic book
medium to do art, but he certainly didn’t
turn down an invitation to participate in
the prestigious Illustrators of
America Annual in 1993. The story
behind the mysterious blindfolded person
or who he might be pointing to eludes us,
but this is the kind of image that evokes
speculation. It is a striking drawing with
an unusually narrow proportion that would
mat and frame beautifully.
Medium/Size/Condition: Brush and
ink on Bristol board measuring 10 x 15
inches. The image itself is 4.75 x 13.75
inches, and some might choose to clip or
fold the blank right half for a more
dramatic thin framing. The ragged black
border is an applied Press tape.” The
drawing itself is fully original.
Excellent condition.
Further reference: Much other Eisner art, plus
out-of-print graphic novels, Spirit comic books and magazines,
