A dozen ducks, mostly of Super Duck, a now obscure comic

(Archie) which Crumb has cited as an early favorite. A
couple of humans, including a smarmy salesman type and
bears also inhabit the dense layout.
Measures 17 inches high x 11 5/8 inches wide. Drawn on
quilted paper commonly used for restaurant placemats in
France. from Rendered in fine point Rapidograph pen. Drawn
at the Couscous Mouton on Boulevard Menilmontant in Paris.
Impeccable provenance. Signed in an unusually decorative
manner as "R. Crumbaly."
