102. The Last of the Flower Children
(1982).
By 1982 the idealism of the hippie movement
had so faded that Howard (Barefootz) Cruse could
make lighthearted fun of "the last of the flower children."
It seemed like just yesterday that the bearded freak, joint in
mouth, wearing a peace sign and bell bottoms was the company's
archetypal customer. Excellent detailing in Cruses's drawing
and typography.
2.25 inch diameter. $4.00
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
