    233. Kurtzman & Elder's Little Annie Fanny (2001).

Similar to button #232. One hundred and seven "Little Annie Fanny" color comic sections by Harvey Kurtzman & Will Elder (with help from friends like Jack Davis and Frank Frazetta) appeared in the very back of Playboy magazine from 1962 to 1988. The complete color strips, widely regarded as cartoon masterpieces, were finally collected in 2001 by Dark Horse Comics in a 2-volume set, with introductions and extensive annotations by Denis Kitchen.

[Note: Original "Little Annie Fanny" artwork, including Kurtzman's exquisite preliminary drawings for LAF, are available from our web gallery. The LAF books are available from this web store as well.] If you visited Dark Horse's comic convention booths in 2001 or have friends in Dark Horse's marketing department, you already got these great topless Annie buttons absolutely free. It's still free when you buy one of the LAF books or LAF artwork from us. Otherwise buy the button alone for just $3.00.

    1.25 inch diameter

One note, for serious button collectors, you may want to read the KSP BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years, or see the COMPLETE KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient while it loads.
