    69. Buddy Baker: Crooner For Hire (1975).

Art by Leslie Cabarga. Though '30's era singer Buddy Baker was a decidedly minor underground comix character (we can only recall appearances in Comix Book), friend and publisher Denis Kitchen indulged Leslie and underwrote this button. Not surprisingly, sales were weak. The character is a bit of an in-joke. Cabarga is a multi-talent, having professionally been a baker, cartoonist, psychic, author, and vocalist. His business card once stated, "Can cartoon and croon." Buddy was a combination of these proifessional apirations.

    2.25" diameter. $2.50

One note, for serious button collectors, you may want to read the KSP BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years, or see the COMPLETE KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient while it loads.
