55. Rosie the Riveter (1975).
Drawn by Trina Robbins. Rosie, prominent
on patriotic World War II posters, symbolized the women who performed
heavy labor at home when virtually all the armed forces consisted
of men. Trina, a feminist and underground cartoonist, revived
this character in her own style.
2.25" diameter. $4.00
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
