POCKET PIN-UPS Card Set (1993). (NO BOX!)

In the 1950s a strange breed of magazine dotted the racks of America's newsstands. Measuring about 4" x 6", these mini-mags boasted plenty of pictures, articles of fleeting interest, and ten-cent price --and cheesecake photos on the covers. Featured starlets include Betty Page (on eight different cards!); Irish McCalla (TV's Sheena, Queen of the Jungle); Anita Ekberg (of Fellini film fame); stripper Lili St. Cyr; Jayne Mansfield; Tina Louise (before Gilligan's Island); French bombshell Brigitte Bardot; Mamie Van Doren (who earned her own separate KSP card set); and "That Girl Marilyn" (Monroe), as seen through the eyes of her friend Jane Russell (The Outlaw). Plus others! Pocket Pin-Ups was compiled and annotated by Max Allan Collins, author of Road to Perdition and Dick Tracy.

This out-of-print set was originally issued boxed. We have a small number otherwise complete 36-card sets (NM/Mint) minus only the box for just $9.95.
