protects Superman, in a heroic flying pose, from atomic
blasts emanating from a hostile rocket ship. $1,600
Medium/Size/Condition: India
ink
on heavy Bristol board measuring 15” wide x 22” high
(38.1 x 55.9 cm). Signed and dated (2016) lower left,
with an additional signature and creation history on the
reverse. The lot includes Poplaski’s color guide: color
pencils on a photocopy (two pieces of papers taped
together) of the finished art, close to the same size.
Both items are in excellent condition.
