smashes a Nazi missile with “The Superman Creed”
hovering above him. $1,350
Medium/Size/Condition: India
ink on heavy Bristol board measuring 17” wide x 14” high
(43.2 x 35.6 cm). The art is discreetly signed &
dated (2016) in a vertical sign hanging on the building
in the lower left. There are red ink lines on Superman
to indicate to the colorist where shading begins and
ends. The lot includes Poplaski’s color guide: original
color pencils on a photocopy of the finished art (two
pieces of papers taped together) measuring slightly
larger than the original. Both items are in excellent
condition
