104. Blame it on the C.I.A.! (1983).
The Central Intelligence Agency has always
been looked upon suspiciously by dissidents so it's no surprise
that underground cartoonist Larry Rippee depicted America's
supersleuths as untrustworthy back stabbers on this tongue-in-cheek
paranoia button. No coicidence either that the stabbing, cursing
agent bears a strong similarity to right wing detective Dick
Tracy, whose curmudgeonly creator Chester Gould hated hippies
and "street scum."
Diameter 2.25 inches. $4.00
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
