133-C. Denizen C
(1989).
One of three buttons to promote creator
Doug Potter's 8-issue underground comix series Denizens
of Deep City (1988-1990). This third button depicts Rooftop
Club member Maripat's mother Regina Dilwhite, who does temporary
work by day and leads a rock band at night. Potter also created
the one-shot Chips and Vanilla for Kitchen Sink Press
and contributed to Death Rattle. (Why 133 "C"?
For reasons lost in time, these three promo buttons were not
counted on KSP's original "master list" of chronologically
numbered buttons, so we have belatedly assigned them #133-A,
133-B and 133-C to indicate that they fall in the time line between
the 1989 Blab! set and the April 1990 Bushmiller retrospective
button.)
1.25" diameter. $3.00
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
