135. Xenozoic
(1990).
This button was given away at Kitchen Sink
Press's booth at the 3rd Annual Capital City Distribution Sales
Conference in Madison WI in 1990. The image, by Mark Schultz,
depicts the trademark 1954 Cadillac Eldorado convertible driven
by Jack "Cadillac" Tenrec in the then-fledgling
Xenozoic Tales series. Within three years there would
be a Cadillac Jack action figure, an official red toy convertible
and many other toys from Tyco and other licensees as the Cadillacs
and Dinosaurs TV show aired on CBS-TV. But in 1990 it was
still "just" an award-winning black & white comic
book with a growing cult following. See also buttons #177-183.
1.25 inch diameter. $5.00
Type "Schultz" or "Xenozoic"
in our web site search feature for serigraphs, prints, postcards
and back issues.
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
