53. Betty Boop Club (1975).
Adapted from an original 1930's club button
from the Fleischer Brothers studio, this was officially
licensed from King Features well before Betty Boop merchandise
became so ubiquitous. Betty was nonetheless undergoing revival
at this time and the button proved to be one of Kitchen Sink's
best sellers. (See also button #33, for Betty Boop and
her creator Grim Natwick.) 2.25" diameter. $7.00
[Do not confuse this #53 with the Neal
Adams' #53-A which is known as #71 in the official KSP List.]
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
