SUPER
SOUL COMIX No. 1 (1972)
The late Richard Grass
Green was the most
prominent and
prolific African-American cartoonist involved in underground comix. He was also involved in the early
development of amateur fanzines, offering the first organized
discussions of comic
books, particularly costumed heroes.
This
devotion to superheroes, combined
with an audacious attitude toward women, sex, and especially
interracial sex,
made Super Soul Comix
politically incorrect even in its freewheeling day, and thats not
likely to
change.
First
(and only) printing. Published by Kitchen Sink Press. Adults only.
Condition is
excellent, as scanned. $6
