    Hamlin (1899-1993) created Alley Oop (1931-1972). Alley Oop, the adventures of a time travelling cave man, combined adventure with Dadaesque humor in tall tales about Oop, his dinosaur Dinny, the beautiful Oola, and Professor G. Oscar Boom. Alley Oop was immortalized in the perennially popular rock hit by the Hollywood Argyles (1960). 4" x 6" sepia tone on heavy card stock.
