Title/date/description: Preliminary pencil drawing for 2nd page of "Internal Time," page 26 in City People Notebook (1989).

Size/medium/condition: The under drawings are done in blue-leaded pencil, while the tighter compositions are in black pencil. Five of the visual elements (two of which comprise part of the bottom panel) are separate originals, cut by Will Eisner from separate sources and pasted on to a single 8.5 x 11-inch sheet. The opening panel and parts of the final part are drawn on the underlying sheet of paper. There are two tiny staple holes in the upper right corner, very close to the edge. Excellent overall condition, with the understanding that most of the original art is on paste-ups. A good page for a new comic art collector on a limited budget.
