    Will Eisner Original Art NAME OF THE GAME: unpublished cover (2001). LOT of 2.

    The central full color oval image is Will Eisner's original ink and watercolor. It's pasted on an original water colored and retouched photocopy, dated "01" will a full watercolor signature. A similar treatment was ultimately published by DC Comics, with the same background used on DC's back cover, but this particular cover was never used.

    Comes with Will's "Name of the Game" logo on a clear acetate which can be laid over the art to see how the cover would have looked (with lettering and border probably "reversed" as white on the darker art background). A fascinating alternative cover to one of Eisner's last masterworks.

    Art is 10.25 x 14.5 inches, acetate is 8.5 x 11 inches. $2,900
