1-A. Kitchen Sink Enterprises: Fine
Comix (1973).
Drawn by Denis Kitchen to promote
his then 4-year-old publishing division of Krupp Comic Works.
This is one of the earliest appearances of Steve Krupp,
the surly magnate who continues to be Kitchen's trademark (and
the namesake of Steve Krupp's Curio Shoppe).
2.25 inch diameter. The number "1"
appears on a "button" near Steve's left jowl. This
button is superficially similar to #8-A but is easily distinguishable
(see description of 8-A for differences).
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP BUTTON
TEXT which explains the numbering
systems for identifying the various buttons produced over the
last 30 years, or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is
VERY long, so be patient while it loads.
