108. Bix (1983).
He was
the leading (or at least most vocal) pigeon person in Jay
Lynch and Gary Whitney's self-syndicated "Phoebe
and the Pigeon People" comic strip that was collected into
three comic books by Kitchen Sink Press. Despite wearing a dated
beret and spouting beatnik-era poetry, Bix was arguably the most
popular character in the strip. The proof? He has two
buttons in this mini-series (see also #119).
2.25 inch diameter. $2.50
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
