Will Elder's buxom Little Annie Fanny starred in 107
sexy and satirical adventures in Playboy magazine
from 1962 till 1988. In 2001 the complete color strips, widely
regarded as cartoon masterpieces, were collected by Dark Horse
Comics in a 2-volume set with introductions and extensive
annotations by Denis Kitchen. The Annie stories are unmatched
in composition, rendering and exhaustive detail, and many of
them stand the test of time, remaining funny and on-target thirty
and forty years after publication.
