68. Barefootz (1975).
This Howard Cruse character with
inexplicably large bare feet began as a college newspaper strip,
graduated to many apearances in underground comix (including
Snarf, Comix Book, Bizarre Sex and Dope Comix),
starred in two of his own Barefootz comic books and finally
ended up in a squarebound book collection. His strips and stories
often involved LSD themes and political issues (Barefootz's friend
Headrack was an early openly gay character). "Make Woof,
Not Warp" is a twist on the popular "Make Love, Not
War" mantra of the '60s.
2.25" diameter. $4.00
One note, for serious button collectors,
you may want to read the KSP
BUTTON TEXT which explains the numbering systems for
identifying the various buttons produced over the last 30 years,
or see the COMPLETE
KSP BUTTON LIST. The list is VERY long, so be patient
while it loads.
