FROM HELL Volume 1 (4th printing - KSP).

The first serialized volume of what developed into one of the most acclaimed graphic novels of all time, adapted as a major motion picture. Writer Alan Moore and illustrator Eddie Campbell's interpretation of the legendary and never-solved Jack the Ripper mystery provides new insights and theories on the crime while also exploring Victorian society. Plumb the depths of horror and madness in this provocative, multiple Harvey and Eisner Award-winning From Hell saga.

All eleven issues are still available ---only from this web store! Squarebound, 64 pages, with detailed appendix by Moore.

First published in 1991 by Tundra. Tundra and Kitchen Sink Press (KSP) merged in early 1993 and subsequent printings bore KSP's imprint. Their respective core content is very similar, but the editions have distinct differences. Most notably the Tundra "From Hell" logo is comprised of thin lines and a lower case "h." KSP's logo, designed by award-winning letterer Todd Klein, is much bolder and the "H" is upper case. KSP's front cover says "volume one." The spines have different typography and KSP's edition is noticeably thicker. Moore's appendix is completely retyped in KSP and the inside covers in the KSP edition are in two colors with graphics.

4th printing (Kitchen Sink Press). Near Mint.
