DEEP 3-D COMIX
No. 1. (1970) First printing.
Drawn almost entirely by Don Glassford,
an early member of the Krupp Comic Works/Kitchen Sink gang, but
Denis Kitchen did the back cover and Jay Lynch contributed
one 3-D page ("Nard n' Pat"). Most of the gags, given
the era, are dope-oriented. Glassford's "Nooter the Computer"
looks like a simple reel-to-reel tape recorder... but, hey, this
was three decades ago! Deep 3-D was the only
underground 3-D comic. Because of its novelty value in 1970 and
its enhancement for many acid trips, this comic, not surprisingly,
went through several printings. This is a scarce first printing
in mint condition and it comes with the original custom
3-D glasses still intact. Kitchen Sink Press.
