    John Lennon gets Richard Nixon stoned in this hippie fantasyland cover, typical of cartoonist Jim Mitchells laid-back and wry sense of humor. This was Mitchells only solo comic book, though he dominates Smile #2 and 3. Other celebs caricatured inside: Easy Rider, Spiro Agnew, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. But mostly its Mitchells own characters.

    First printing. Besides the sideways format, slightly larger trim size than most undergrounds. Published by Kitchen Sink Press. Adults only. Condition is excellent, as scanned. $16
