    Sterrett's (1883-1964) Polly and Her Pals (1912-1958), ostensibly a comic strip about young Polly and her Maw and Paw Perkins, was a witty and delightful comedy that, with Krazy Kat, succeeds both as comic art and Surrealism. His peer Al Capp called Sterrett the finest cartoonist of them all. 4" x 6" sepia tone card on heavy card stock.
