DOPE COMIX POSTER No. 1 by Leslie Cabarga.

Original First Printing of this classic hippie-era wall hanging. Taken from the cover of the classic underground Dope Comix #1, Cabarga depicts a strapped-down and victimized bug being forced to puff a joint by an evil drug pushing spider. But ---don't fear--- a "B-Man" flies to the rescue! If you think this image has an old '30s Fleischer Brothers cartoon look to it, pat yourself on the back. Cabarga is perhaps best known as the artist who revived Max Fleischer's classic Betty Boop. Cabarga not only drew the best modern greeting cards, album covers, posters and other merchandized Betty, but he also wrote the definitive book on the Fleischer's careers. (For the available underground comix he contributed, use our search engine).

These 1970's posters are long out of print, but we still have a few in our archives. 16.5" x 24".
