A street fight breaks out on a summer night
beneath the elevated train tracks of a tenement district in New
York City. This color painting is one of four New York street
scenes that Eisner, the quintessential New Yorker, created for
a limited edition lithograph set in 1988.
Only eight hundred lithographs of each
image were produced, each signed & numbered by Will Eisner.
Of these, the 400 even-numbered prints were sold in the American
market and the odd-numbered edition was sold exclusively in Europe.
Actual image area is 15 inches wide by
19.25 inches high. The full framing size with margins is 19.25"
x 27.25". Acid-free paper. Shrink-wrapped against stiff
cardboard. Shipped flat.
