Will Eisner's most overtly autobiographical work, To the Heart of
the Storm focuses
on the anti-Semitism experienced by both his immigrant family and his
own personal interactions and business dealings. The intense and very
personal story old through a series of flashbacks as Will in uniform is
on a World War II troop train. This page shows Will examining his first
romance and the political views his girlfriend�s Socialist father,
while he builds a boat.

This page from To the Heart of the Storm measures
11 by 14 inches. Drawn with pen, brush and ink, with light gray shading
by grease pencil (often lost in reproductions), on Bristol board.
Excellent condition. Price: $1,350.

original art is warranted to be from the Will Eisner estate and
guaranteed to be authentic. No one else has owned this art except Will
Eisner and his widow Ann (exclusively represented for art sales by the
Denis Kitchen Art Agency). This item, if purchased, will come with a
