WILL EISNER. The Long Hit, page 5.
(1986). Originally appeared in Will Eisners Quarterly #8 then
was collected in The Will Eisner Reader (Kitchen Sink
Press/DC Comics/W. W. Norton).
In this
short but
masterful story, a mob hit man bungles an assignment in 1934, then half
a century later finds himself retired in Florida, where he sees the man
he was hired to kill much earlier. This story coincides with Will
Eisners own retirement in Florida, where he still accomplished a
great deal of work before his demise in 2005. On this page the old hit
man calls the son of his original mafia boss to notify him that he
intends to honor his original obligation.
Size/Medium/Condition/Price:
This Long Hit page measures 11 by 14 inches. Drawn with pen, brush
and ink on Bristol board. Excellent condition. Price: $1,400.
Provenance:
This
original art is guaranteed to be authentic. It is warranted to be
from the Will Eisner estate, which is exclusively represented by the

purchase this item it will come with a DKAA Bill of Sale. This document
provides ironclad provenance for insurance purposes, any museum
